Adolfo has been Secretary General of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce and of the Spanish Court of Arbitration since January 2016.

He holds a degree in law and business administration and management from Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE E-3) and is a State Attorney. From January 2012 to January 2016, he was the Technical Secretary General of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and the Environment. Adolfo previously practised as a State Attorney in the Criminal Department of the Office of the Spanish Solicitor General, as head of the Legal Service for the State Taxation Authority in Extremadura and as deputy head of the Legal Service for the State Taxation Authority in Madrid.
