2. Expedited proceeding

Specifically designed for claims where the amount in dispute is lower than one million euros. The dispute will generally be resolved by a sole arbitrator and terms of reference will not be mandatory.  Unlike in ordinary proceedings, the arbitrator cannot extend the time period for rendering the award in expedited proceedings.

3. Emergency arbitrator

This proceeding is specifically designed for requests for conservatory measures, preliminary orders and measures for the freezing or advance taking of evidence, which owing to their nature and circumstances cannot wait until the case file is delivered to the arbitrators. Emergency arbitrators may conduct proceedings as they deem appropriate, taking into account the nature and circumstances of the emergency measures being sought, and particularly ensuring that the parties have a reasonable opportunity to exercise their rights to be heard and to reply.
